What You Need to Know About Insurance Companies
The decision you make on who should represent you and your family is a tremendously important one. You should be represented by a lawyer you trust, and who is skilled enough to make sure you get the best possible outcome. That means that the lawyer must substantively know the law, but also know how insurance companies work. Your case is personal to you, but not to the insurance company.
When you report that an uninsured person hurt you, you would think that your insurance company would take care of you. After all, you have been paying them premiums for years.
The reality is that your insurance company may actively try to discourage you from getting care and may do everything necessary to protect their bottom line. Insurance companies are not necessarily good or bad, although some are worse than others. Like all other businesses, they care about profit, which means paying you less than you may deserve.
What insurance companies are, however, is predicable. They treat every case as though it’s the same. To get full value for a case, either in front of a jury at trial, or in a settlement with the insurance company, your lawyer needs to know intimately how they work, what they value, and where their blind spots are.
Justin understands how insurance companies work and the tactics that local insurers take when trying to maximize their profits. He also understand how to maximize the value of your claim. Along with his trial experience, this makes Justin a fierce advocate who is ready to fight for you and your loved ones.
